TAYLOR — The Reflections, one of the leading vocal groups of the 1960s pop and doo-wop era, will perform “Just Like Romeo and Juliet” and other hits July 25 at the American Legion Post 200, 11800 Michael.

Tickets are $30 with all proceeds benefitting the American Legion building fund.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. A buffet dinner will be served at 7 p.m., featuring chicken, Swedish meatballs, potatoes, vegetable, salad, rolls and desserts. The night includes a cash bar, door prizes, 50/50 drawings, and disc jockey Jimmy James.

“Romeo and Juliet” was The Reflections’ first hit and went on to be a multi-million seller. They dominated the carts with “Shabby Little Hut,” “Poor Man’s Son” and “Like Columbus Did.” Their well-crafted harmonies and cool professionalism life on four decades later.
