February 24, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

TAYLOR — The general public is invited to attend a planning committee meeting for the city’s American Warriors Museum at 5 p.m. Thursday in the City Council chambers of City Hall, 23555 Goddard Road.

The museum will be located inside City Hall and feature stories, photos, uniforms, equipment, artifacts and memorabilia of armed forces veterans — past and present — from Taylor and beyond. The museum is scheduled to open on Armed Forces Day May 16.

The meeting will include discussion on the museum and the city’s Memorial Day ceremony taking place the same day.

For more information call Councilman Butch Ramik at (734) 341-1817.
