Blood drive March 17 at former Taylor fire station

TAYLOR — The Taylor Police Department will sponsor an American Red Cross blood drive from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at the former main fire station at 11101 Pine Street, just south of City Hall.

 

Appointments can be made by calling Marge Maladecki at (734) 374-1445, although walk-ins are accepted.

 

The Taylor Police Department has received platinum sponsor recognition from the Red Cross for its extensive efforts in organizing blood drives. The police blood drive has been recognized as the top Downriver blood drive in 2006 and 2007 in terms of participants and quantity of blood donated.
