DEARBORN — Henry Ford Community College will hold an open house for prospective students 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. April 21 on the main campus, 5101 Evergreen. Complimentary food and refreshments will be provided at this free event.

Prospective students of all ages and experience will have the opportunity to learn about more than 100 different associate degree and certificate programs offered and get information on financial aid and other student services. High school students can learn more about how to earn college credit while still in high school, and more experienced individuals looking for additional training or a career change can learn how HFCC can help them.

Attendees can tour campus with a student ambassador and view demonstrations in various classrooms and labs. Attendees also can view a free planetarium show in the Science Building, see a concert in the Skylight Café, watch the HFCC Full Circle Dance Company perform and enter to win prizes at various locations.

Students and faculty representing on-campus organizations and activities will be available to talk to guests about how to get involved in campus life. Go to the Web site www.hfcc.edu/openhouse for a schedule of events.

Those interested in attending are encouraged to register online at www.hfcc.edu/openhouse. For more information about the open house, call the Office of Enrollment Development at (313) 845-6397 or (800) 585-HFCC (4322), or send questions via e-mail to [email protected]
