TAYLOR — Golfers can play at two local courses at the lowest rates of the year while joining the Golf Department and WYCD-FM in helping families who are dealing with a tough economy.
The Finally Fore promotion is set for tomorrow at the Lakes of Taylor, 25505 North Line Road, and Taylor Meadows, 25360 Ecorse Road.
Green fees are $15 for 18 holes and a power cart at Lakes of Taylor and $10 for 18 holes and a power cart at Taylor Meadows.
The Golf Department and WYCD will donate $5 of each golfer’s fee directly to the Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry to help support local families in need. City Golf Director Rob Pare said the day will include golf, demonstrations and prizes.
“We look forward to welcoming back our golfers,” he said. “In addition to playing golf, there are activities for everyone who just wants to support a great cause, product demos, raffles, tours and golf clinics.”
