Dearborn residents reminded that April 20-24 are Public Service Days

April 17, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – April 20 through 24 are Public Service Days in the city.

Parked vehicles must be removed from the street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on trash pickup day this week. Failure to do so could result in a ticket.
City ordinance prohibits residents from putting trash containers in the street at any time, including on regular pickup day. All trash, yard waste and recycling must be placed on the easement.

Public Service Days occur the first full week of the month and the third full week of the month. The first full week has the first Monday of the month; the third full week is two weeks later.

For more about Public Service Days, including a complete schedule, go to the Web site www.cityofdearborn.org or call (313) 943-2886.
