April 17, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – The Historical Museum will host a free lecture at 7:30 p.m. May 6, offering a photographic history of Wayne State University.

Author and WSU alumna Evelyn Aschenbrenner will trace the evolution of Michigan’s third largest university, from the Civil War era to the present day. Her PowerPoint presentation showcases rare and intriguing images of the school that reflect milestones from the organization of colleges in the 1930s to its emergence as a modern research university.

The museum is at 915 S. Brady. For more information, call (313) 565-3000.
