TAYLOR – Members of the public gathered Tuesday to honor the memory of a loved one at the Time to Remember memorial gathering Tuesday.
The event is sponsored by Arbor Hospice’s Grief Support Services staff, and included a ceremony to remember those who have died, especially those cared for by the hospice.
Hospice staff and volunteers will play host to similar events at the Emily Bridge Frank Cultural Center, 2427 West Road in Trenton at 10 a.m. June 6, as well as one at the Environmental Interpretive Center of the University of Michigan-Dearborn, 4901 Evergreen Road, at 10 a.m. July 18.
The events were created to celebrate life, specifically by planting “new life.” The public is welcome to attend. Plants will be provided.
Arbor officials say that for 25 years it has been committed to providing quality, compassionate care for those experiencing the end-of-life journey.
