Free jazz concerts series in Dearborn City Hall Park kicks off on July 22

DEARBORN – A series of free evening jazz concerts in City Hall Park kicks off at 7p.m. Wednesday with Alexander Zonjic and Friends.
The concert is the first in the “Jazz On The Ave” series, presented by the East Downtown Dearborn Development Authority and Smooth Jazz V98.7. All the concerts are free of charge and open to the public. City Hall is at 13615 Michigan Ave.
Future concerts are: July 29, David Myles & The Mylestones; Aug. 12, Jessie Coleman; Aug. 19, Penny Wells; and Aug. 26, The Brothers Groove.
Along with Smooth Jazz V98.7, the concert series cosponsors include Oakwood Healthcare, the Dearborn Community Fund and the Metro Times.
