Religious books stolen

The rear driver’s-side window of a 2008 Ford Escape was broken sometime between 9 p.m. July 25 and 8:30 a.m. July 26 while it was parked outside the owner’s apartment in the 11000 block of Fordline.
A black bag containing three religious books was taken from the car’s back seat. The damage is estimated at $200.

Handicap ramp lifted

A $1,200 handicap ramp was stolen from outside a house in the 14000 block of Euclid sometime between 10:30 p.m. July 24 and 10 a.m. July 25.
The resident was renting the ramp for $100 a month to assist a family member living in the house.

Lock cut, gas snatched

Nine cylinders of propane gas were stolen from Home Depot, 3163 Fairlane, sometime between 2 and 7 a.m. July 22.
The perpetrator cut the lock on the cage that houses the cylinders, which is stored in the rear of the building.
