Women arrested for rocking and rolling all night

August 11, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

TRENTON — Police were called three times early Aug. 1 to a house in the 4800 block of Fort on complaints of loud music being played, and the final visit resulted in the arrest of two women.
The first two complaints were at 1 and 1:55 a.m. On the third, at 3:20 a.m., the officer was greeted by a 19-year-old woman who refused to turn down the music, became agitated and began yelling at him to get off her porch.
Her mother, 46, ran from inside the house and jumped on the officer, scratching a 5-inch gash into his right arm. The daughter then shoved another officer, and police eventually forced both women to the ground, handcuffed them and arrested them.
On the way to the police station, the daughter began striking her head on the window of the patrol car and causing herself to bleed. She also spit repeatedly on the back seat, causing the car to be taken out of service temporarily for biohazard reason.
