Outreach music festival to help foreclosure victims

ALLEN PARK – The Community Outreach Music Fest at Capers, 23120 Outer Drive, will raise funds to benefit foreclosed city families in need by holding a two-day fundraiser featuring music and merriment from noon to 10 p.m. today.

    Fourteen bands played starting yesterday. Scheduled to perform were Fifty Amp Fuse, Pistol Day Parade, Blackberry Brandy and the Beatles tribute band the Back Beats, Matt Martinez and Sean Moylan.

    Afterparties will feature Xoned Out and CounterPoint.

    Sponsors include 101 WRIF-FM, AAA, Flagstar Bank and Bud Light. All ages are welcome to attend.
