The Dearborn Chamber of Commerce moves to a new location in the lower level of the Bryant Library, centrally located in the West Dearborn Business District. A public grand opening is set for Friday, October 2, 2009 at 11am.
The new address, 22100 Michigan Ave., will provide the Chamber staff with a more modern, business friendly place to do business, according to Chamber President Jennifer Knott Giering.
“This updated headquarters for the Chamber gives us the look, feel and necessary amenities that we want to be able to offer our business and community constituents,” said Knott Giering. “This site will also be the official Welcome Center for the city, appropriately located on the first floor of this beautiful, historic landmark—Bryant Library.”
The space houses staff offices as well as renovated meeting space that Chamber members will be able to utilize to as a perk of membership. Visitors to Dearborn will be able to stop by for lodging and attraction information, as well.
“New challenges in this current environment call for new and different offerings for our members,” said Knott Giering. “This new location will add value for our members and the community.”
The Dearborn Chamber of Commerce works to promote the best interests of nearly 600 member businesses by helping them connect with prospective customers, promote products and services, succeed in business through increasing sales and saving money, and to become a leader in the Dearborn community.
