DEARBORN — Police are seeking the public’s help in apprehending a suspect in a bank robbery Thursday at Charter One Bank, 13801 Michigan Ave.

At about 1:20 p.m. a black man 30 to 40 years old wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, glasses, dark T-shirt and dark pants presented a note demanding money to a bank employee, police said.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and last was seen on foot on Schaefer north of Michigan Avenue. No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

Anyone with information related to the incident or knows the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Dearborn police at (313) 943-3012.
