WXYZ-TV’s Dennis Neubacher to emcee show featuring local celebrities
DEARBORN – The Rotary Club of Dearborn believes there’s Michigan talent just waiting to be discovered. Their upcoming “So You Think You Can Sync?” show, slated for 7 p.m. Oct. 22 in Fordson High School’s auditorium, may prove them right.
“We already have a great lineup of community leaders and others, including Dearborn Mayor John O’Reilly, Jr., Dearborn City Councilman and Rotarian George Darany, and Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano, who have volunteered to lip sync some favorite tunes,” said Amy Bazzy, event chair. “We also expect to have some very entertaining performances by local teachers and school staff.”
“Captain” Dennis Neubacher, a Dearborn native and pilot of WXYZ-TV’s News Chopper 7, will emcee the fundraiser. The proceeds will fund scholarships Rotary awards yearly to high school seniors from Dearborn private and public high schools.
Tickets for the event are $10 for adults and $7 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at Massage Green, Fishers Flowers, Spectrum Signs and the law offices of Dagher Goodman Dagher in Dearborn.
