Public invited to attend Oct. 15 town hall meeting on disability awareness issues

DEARBORN – The public is invited to attend a town hall meeting related to disability awareness and access issues from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 15, in Studio A of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.

The theme is “disability awareness: past, present and future.” Planned topics are: parking issues, voting accessibility, emergency preparedness and encouraging small business to be more accessible.

Free parking, including disability-accessible parking, is available.

The event is sponsored by the city’s Commission on Disability Concerns www.dearborn-disabilities.org.
