RIVERVIEW – A mobile Secretary of State branch office visit here has been rescheduled for Nov. 12 and 13.
Mechanical problems prompted cancellation of the original visit dates, Sept. 29 and 30.
Provided the mobile unit’s visit is not further delayed by state budget impasse shutdowns, the unit should be at City Hall 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 12 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 13.
The mobile office allows Michigan residents to renew their driver’s license and identification card up to six months in advance.
License plates and tabs are also available at the mobile branch. Title and registration documents for vehicles and watercraft also can be processed.
The mobile branch office can accept voter registration and address changes as well.
Payments can be made by MasterCard or Discover.
Needed forms generally are available on site. The mobile unit is accessible to people with disabilities.
Nearby building-based Secretary of State locations are at 2942 Van Alstyne in Wyandotte, and 3040 Van Horn Road in Trenton.
