Animal shelter offers low-cost vaccination clinic

WYANDOTTE – A licensed veterinarian from Pet Care Hospital will vaccinate pets 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 24. at the Copeland Center, 2306 Fourth.

Rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines will be available for $12 per shot at the session, which is put on by the Wyandotte Animal Pound. Records are required only for those who want a three-year rabies vaccine for $14. No appointments will be accepted; payments must be made in cash.

Downriver Dog Obedience will be on hand to help owners with training and temperament questions about their pet. Angels with Fur Grooming will offer nail trimming for $5 and ear cleaning for $3.

City residents can license their dogs and cats on site after vaccination.
