Hellblock aims to make Halloween exciting

October 10, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

WYANDOTTE – Hellblock13, the Jaycees’ “instant classic” will be scaring souls every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday now through Nov. 1 at 2015 Biddle at the southeast corner of North Line.

The haunted house has 13,000 square feet with indoor sheltered waiting, and what the Jaycees gleefully bill as “murder and mayhem” inside an infamous haunted cellblock. The site promises a “twisting labyrinth of fear and torture that will have your eyes bulging, skin crawling and heart pounding.”

Sponsors also urge thrillseekers to “see if you can break free from the imprisoned demons that are ready to pass judgment on your soul.”

To learn about special events, pricing, friendly monster days for the younger set, and online ticket purchasing directions, go to www.hellblock13.com.

Regular admission is $13, but a $20 VIP admission lets visitors move to the head of the line and re-enter if they dare. Discounts are available for groups of 13 or more.
