Paris and Nicole, stray gray tabbies, were found together. They are about 2 to 3 years old. Wyandotte Animal Pound volunteers say they were shy at first, but really have warmed up to people. They have been at the pound since early August and tend to get overlooked. They have been spayed and their shots are up to date. Cat adoption fees are $60 cash and include spaying or neutering, the first distemper vaccine, a combo test and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. Cat adopters either should bring a carrier or purchase a cardboard one from the shelter for $5. The pound is at 1170 Grove, between 11th and 13th streets. Adoption hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. For more information call (734) 324-4445, or go to www.petfinder.com/shelters/MI363.html.
