Maria Kerekes (second from left) is joined by her parents, Magdalena Kerekes (left) and Tibor Kerekes at a recent Lincoln Park Exchange Club meeting after members named her Student of the Month. The award is presented each month to an outstanding high school student. Maria is a senior at Lincoln Park High School and has earned a 4-point-plus grade point average. She is active in her church, the school track team, band, and drama. She plans to graduate in the top 10 in her class and attend Henry Ford Community College.
