This year marks the 26th anniversary of the Henry Ford Community College Autumn Jazz Concert.
The Henry Ford Community College Fine Arts and Fitness Division will present its 26th Autumn Jazz Concert at 8 p.m. Dec. 11 in the Adray Auditorium of the Mackenzie Fine Arts Center on HFCC’s main campus, 5101 Evergreen in Dearborn.
The concert will feature performances by the Henry Ford Big Band, Blue Fusion (vocal jazz), Studio 110 (Big Band jazz) and Midnight Blue (vocal jazz) and will include performances of favorite big band and vocal jazz tunes of the past as well as holiday songs, including “The Christmas Song,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”

“HFCC’s Autumn Jazz Concert is a great concert for both younger and older music fans,” Goward said.
The HFCC Big Band plays throughout the Dearborn area and is known for their big band repertoire.
Directed by HFCC music instructor Randall Knight, the Studio 110 Jazz Orchestra performs a selection of jazz favorites at many Detroit-area events. Its members range from recent high school graduates to retirees.
Midnight Blue, directed by HFCC vocal music director Kevin Dewey, performs vocal jazz and has appeared locally and nationally.
