City hires attorney for basement flooding claims

ALLEN PARK – Ken Slusser of the law firm of Johnson and Rosati will defend the city in a lawsuit filed on behalf of 27 households stemming from a claim of basement flooding on June 19 and 20.

The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to hire the firm. The suit was filed July 8.

The firm of Macuga and Liddle P.C. of Detroit will represent the plaintiffs.
