Free Thanksgiving dinner is open to everyone

November 14, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

TAYLOR — There is no reason to be alone on Thanksgiving Day, thanks to the St. Constance Catholic Church family.

Organizers at the church, at 21555 Kinyon, east of Pardee Road, are inviting the public to dine free during the fourth annual Thanksgiving dinner from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 26.

Some 200 attended last year’s community Thanksgiving dinner, and even more are expected this year. The 2009 meal will include turkey, ham and all the trimmings at no cost and all are welcome to eat and participate in fellowship and thanks.

To RSVP call the St. Constance Rectory at (313) 291-4050. For a ride contact (313) 291-4050 and ask for Pat Holland.

Sponsors for the event include Saveland, Seaway Marketplace, Taylor Ford, Dearborn Sausage and Aldi.
