Exchangite of the Year

Debbie Van Cleave, treasurer of the Lincoln Park Exchange Club, holds the award she received recently as Exchangite of the Year. Club members say she is very active in many projects, including co-chairing of the city’s Lincoln Park Days celebration, its Fantasyland committee and the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber Business Expo. Every year the Lincoln Park Exchange Club recognizes an exceptional Exchangite for supreme efforts to provide a superior contribution to the club and the local community. The award also is given to honor a member who is active in the organization through participation in recruitment, club leadership positions, major club committees, projects and fundraisers. Additionally club members say it recognizes individuals who give countless hours of their time to volunteer and consistently display a positive attitude while doing so.
