DEARBORN – The H1N1 flu vaccine administered by the city’s Health Department is not affected by the recent voluntary recall, city officials said.

The department did not receive any vaccines from the batches being voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer.

The department continues to offer free H1N1 vaccinations for any Dearborn resident, regardless of age or health requirements.

The department is inside the Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave., and is open Mondays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
