Give the gift of golf and help send a student to college

December 23, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

Looking for a unique gift for that special person? Look no further than Henry Ford Community College, where you can buy a gift certificate for a golf package that supports student scholarships.

For the golfer in your life, purchase a golf package for HFCC’s 19th annual Mike Adray Memorial Golf Tournament, presented by MemberFocus Credit Union, to be played Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the prestigious Dearborn Country Club.

Packages for the Adray Memorial Golf Tournament are $200 for the morning round and $250 for the afternoon. Morning and afternoon golf packages include 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening activities, including wine tasting, entertainment and a silent auction.

To purchase the golf package, please go to www.hfcc.edu/foundation or call the HFCC Office of Development’s golf tournament hotline at (313) 845-9880.

The tournament is the HFCC Foundation’s largest annual fund-raising event to benefit HFCC students. Last year, the tournament raised more than $65,000 for scholarships.
