Jazzy is snazzy
Jazzy is a 2- to 3-year-old cavalier King Charles spaniel Chihuahua-mix at the Allen Park Animal Shelter, 16850 Southfield Road. He tends to be a bit jumpy, so the shelter would prefer to place him in a home without children. However, he has plenty of affection to spare. Jazzy was brought in as a stray and has been at the shelter since mid-December. The shelter is housed in the back of a large blue building east of the City Hall parking lot. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Dog adoptions cost $55, which includes a $25 adoption fee and a $30 spay/neuter deposit. Adopters receive a discount certificate for post-adoption veterinary care at Dix Animal Hospital, 1127 Dix in Lincoln Park.
