Praline, a terrier-basenji mix, is a 1-year-old pup with energy to spare. She has been at the Wyandotte Animal Pound since Dec. 29. She is very interactive with people. The volunteer who rescued her as a stray noted that she does get carsick. She has been spayed and all her shots are up to date. Dog adoption fees are $85 (in cash) and include spaying/neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine and heartworm test if the animal is old enough. The pound is at 1170 Grove, between 11th and 13th streets. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
