Armed robbery, home invasion suspect arrested, arraigned

March 29, 2010 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

A 24-year-old Rockwood man entered an unlocked house in the 18000 block of Prospect with a loaded gun the morning of March 20 threatened a 19-year-old Melvindale man who was playing video games.

Police said Adam Jondall allegedly used the gun to threaten the resident and relieve him of his video gaming system and also vandalized the house.

The Melvindale man’s mother, who was not home at the time, knew Jondall, whom the victim later identified in a photo lineup.

The Rockwood man turned himself in to police after officials contacted his mother. He has a history of violence and felonies, police said, and was arraigned Monday in 24th District Court, where a preliminary examination of the evidence against him is set for April 5.
