Echo is affectionate
Echo is a 3- to 4-year-old tabby who was “live trapped” in Wyandotte as a stray. Volunteers say he is “super-affectionate,” and that he loves petting but not being carried.

Cat adoption fees are $60 cash and include spaying or neutering, the first distemper vaccine, a combo test and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. Cat adopters should bring a carrier. Cardboard box carriers can be purchased from the shelter for $5. The pound is at 1170 Grove, between 11th and 13th streets. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. For more information call (734) 324-4445, or go to www.petfinder.com/shelters/MI363.html.
