The Dearborn Lions Club will be collecting funds in support of programs for people who are blind, as well as those who face other physical challenges, during White Cane Week, which lasts until Friday. Dearborn Mayor John O’Reilly Jr. (center) added his support for the charitable effort. Several Lions Club members are shown here with the White Cane Flag that will fly on the flagpole outside of Dearborn police headquarters. They are (from left): Donald Foss, Lucia Gliese, Lister Worth, President Ron Haining, Stan Daniels; Catherine McAdam and Ginger the Leader dog; and Bob Gliese.
