DEARBORN – The Police Department recently added three officers to its ranks with a swearing-in ceremony at City Hall.
The officers, Bryan Fox, 29; Andrew Galuszka, 22; and Christopher Hampton, 23, all attended Wayne County’s Regional Police Academy.
Fox is a 1998 graduate of South Lyon High School. He attended Schoolcraft College graduating with an associate’s degree in Applied Science in 2009. His most recent employment was as a security guard with Guardsmark.
Galuszka is a 2006 graduate of John Glenn High School. He attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice.
After completing his academy training where he was ranked first in his class, Galuszka interned with the Westland Police Department patrol division and was a member of the Explorers where he served as captain. He also completed an internship at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, working in the special operations forfeiture unit.
Hampton is a 2005 graduate of Salem High School. He attended Schoolcraft College and Michigan State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. After completing his academy training where he ranked second in his class, he was a member of the Westland Police Explorer program. His most recent employment was as a member of Wayne State University campus Police Department. Hampton’s father and mother were both former Dearborn police officers.
