Police are seeking the man at right in connection with Friday’s robbery of a PNC Bank branch.

LINCOLN PARK — Police are seeking a man who robbed PNC Bank, 1568 Dix, Friday afternoon.

They said a thin black man approximately 30 years old presented a teller with a handwritten note saying he had a bomb.

Police said he took the money and calmly walked out the door. No one was hurt in the robbery.

K-9 Officer Aegis tracked the suspect into the neighborhood south of the bank, but lost him at the baseball fields near there.

Bank surveillance cameras have clear images of the man. He is about 6 feet 1 inch tall and has a scraggly beard and a visible tattoo on his left calf.

Anyone with tips on his identity of this suspect is asked to call detectives at (313) 381-8378.

The same bank branch was robbed last month by a woman whose identity was provided by tips from the public, police said.
