Public Relations Strategies and Cost Effective Tools for Small Businesses!

When the budget gets tight, it’s time for PR to keep rolling.

Margaret Blohm, APR has some insightful ideas to share with you. Margaret is an independent public relations consultant with more than 20 years experience including strategic planning, issues management, media relations, public affairs and marketing communications. Since founding Margaux & Associates, LLC in 2000 in Dearborn, Michigan, Blohm’s firm has served a wide variety of small to mid sized businesses in financial and professional services, technology, healthcare, education, retail and automotive. As an accredited member (APR) of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Blohm holds a MA in public relations and organizational communication from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a BA in German language and literature from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Henry Ford Community College Foundation, is president of the Rotary Club of Dearborn and a past chair of the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce. She was recently honored with a “Women of Achievement award in Communications” from the YWCA of Western Wayne County.

The seminar will be held on Tuesday, October 26 at the Dearborn Chamber conference room located at 22100 Michigan Ave. Registration and continental breakfast is at 8:30 and the seminar is from 9am-10:30am.
