Top, three generations of women watch the historic Labadie house settle into its new location Tuesday west of Yack Arena at the corner of Maple and Third in Wyandotte. Lori Rushlow (left) holds her granddaughter, Elenita Hoyumpa, as Rusholow’s daughter and the baby’s mother, Andrea Hoyumpa, watches. Above, Residents had quite a view. The house was transported Tuesday morning from its former location at the northeast corner of Spruce and Second streets down Biddle Avenue to its new home on the southwest corner of Third and Maple. The new destination is actually the house’s third location. It originally was built in Detroit before being moved to Wyandotte.
