Students learn how to use x-ray technologies in one of HFCC’s state-of-the-art laboratories.

For more than 70 years, Henry Ford Community College has provided high-quality academic programs, technological resources and opportunities for thousands of students and professionals seeking the right preparation for future studies and career advancement.

HFCC has hundreds of programs designed to give students an edge when transferring to the college of their choice or when moving into new careers. Whether you seek to obtain your education online, transfer to a college after two years, or are unsure what discipline you wish to study, HFCC can provide you a rich academic experience that will clearly light your pathway to future success.

The faculty and staff of HFCC are dedicated to ensuring student success by working with individuals to identify and attain their educational goals. HFCC faculty members hold masters and doctoral degrees, as well as years of relevant industry experience and relationships with numerous organizations in southeast Michigan and beyond.

HFCC offers state-of-the-art technological resources such as the Michigan Technical Education Center (M-TEC), the Patterson Technology Center and the new School of Nursing on the East Campus, which is perhaps one of the most modern facilities in the area to help train student nurses for all medical fields. In addition, HFCC offers small classes with low faculty to student ratios, which allows for personal attention and interaction with professors, and builds collegiality and friendships among students.

Students can take one class to update their skills, enter a program and work toward achieving an associate’s degree or work toward the first two years of a bachelor’s degree. Students also can come out and watch one of the sports teams compete, such as the highly ranked HFCC Hawks men’s basketball team.

HFCC also offers free programs, events and other opportunities for local community members to learn something new.

Dearborn is the home of HFCC and college officials are thrilled to welcome community members to campus every day of the week to join in on events, activities, programs and other opportunities.

HFCC also provides flexible ways to pay for your education, as well as numerous financial aid and scholarship opportunities that make it easy to focus on your studies and less on the financial obligations required to attend college.

With two campuses in Dearborn and one in Dearborn Heights, HFCC is committed to providing a rich, highly regarded academic experience that will prepare students for a future of success in the new economy.
