Dog attack could land resident in jail

November 6, 2010 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

HEIGHTS – A resident faces jail time because she wasn’t able to control her pet.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy’s office said Laura Langston was charged Friday with having a dangerous animal causing serious injury. The charge stems from her pit bull attacking two victims recently.

The final conference is scheduled for Nov. 29; a jury trial is set for Jan. 11 before Judge Carole Youngblood.
