Make Pheobe your friend
Pheobe is a 6-month old gray domestic shorthair who has been at the shelter for two weeks. She loves to climb and has all her claws. She is scheduled to be spayed soon.

Stick with Taffy
A female Staffordshire bull terrier, Taffy once was used as a bait dog before coming to the shelter. She is covered in wounds and bites, but is friendly and sweet. She is neutered and house trained.

The new girl
A domestic shorthair, Lydia is a female tabby who arrived at the shelter this week. She is sweet-tempered and cuddly.

Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
