O.L. Smith students learn from Pistons

Steve Moreland, the Detroit Pistons’ director of Camps & Clinics/Training Camp Tour, shows off the team’s 2004 NBA championship trophy while signing autographs following a Nov. 23 assembly at O.L. Smith Middle School. In addition to preaching the importance of hard work and hosting a free throw competition between students and teachers (students won), Moreland also provided each student with a ticket to an upcoming game at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
