TRENTON — A cable television contract worker was struck Tuesday by a tree he was cutting.
Police were called about 10:30 a.m. to the area near Vreeland Road and Fort Street on report of a serious car accident. Instead they found a 56-year-old man with a large wound to the back of his head and a large amount of blood on his upper body.
The man told them he had been cutting a tree to clear space for cable TV wire when the tree some-
how hit him, causing some memory loss.
Firefighters transported him to Oakwood Southshore Medical Center for treatment.
