Dearborn declares snow emergency effective 9 p.m. Tuesday until further notice

Parked vehicles must be off the road after 9 p.m. Feb. 1

DEARBORN – The city has declared a snow emergency effective at 9 p.m. Tuesday and lasting until further notice.

The city’s emergency warning sirens will sound at 9 p.m. on Tuesday to alert people that the snow emergency is in effect. The siren will sound again on Wednesday morning as a reminder of the snow emergency.

Parked vehicles must be off the streets to allow for efficient and safe snowplowing as of 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Tickets will be issued to owners of parked vehicles left on the streets. No warnings are issued.
