Five musical groups and five vocal groups will combine for the Henry Ford Community Colege 16th Annual President’s Collage Concert Feb. 26.
DEARBORN — The Henry Ford Community College Music Department will present the 16th Annual President’s Collage Concert at 8 p.m. Feb. 26 in the Michael A. Guido Theater at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.
The concert began in 1996 at the suggestion of Andrew Mazzara, then president of HFCC. HFCC President Gail Mee has continued the tradition of hosting this evening, which celebrates the HFCC music program, the largest two-year program in Michigan.

The first Collage Concert was held at Edsel Ford High School. From 1997 to 2001, the concert was held at Orchestra Hall in Detroit. The concert moved to its current home in 2002.
Groups scheduled to perform are:
• Two jazz bands — Studio 110 and the Henry Ford Big Band.
• Two symphonic bands — Metropolitan Symphony Band and Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
• One percussion ensemble.
• Two vocal jazz ensembles — Blue Fusion and Midnight Blue.
• One women’s choral ensemble — Renaissance Voices.
• Two mixed choirs

HFCC music faculty members G. Kevin Dewey, Rick L. Goward and Randall L. Knight will direct groups.
