DEARBORN — Henry Ford Community College will host the discussion “Liberating Egypt” at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday in the Berry Auditorium of the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services and Conference Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
The discussion, sponsored jointly by HFCC’s Arab Cultural Studies Program and the United States Institute of Peace, will discuss the Egyptian revolution of 2011. Speakers will discuss a survey of the implications of the revolt in regard to the ongoing formation of United States foreign policy.
Panel members include Jeffrey Helsing, dean of Curriculum, Academy of International Conflict Management and Peace Building, United States Institute of Peace.
