Pet of the Week

Jack and Creamo are a team
Jack and Creamo came from the same home but were not cared for adequately. They love each other, and they will need special care, as Jack has feline immunodeficiency virus. Cats with FIV live normal lives with proper diet and frequent veterinarian visits.

‘Charm’ing little cat
Charm is a tiny American shorthair kitten who has not had the best start in life. The 8- to 10-week-old kitten may have been malnourished and has unusually small teeth. She needs to be shown love and learn to trust whoever adopts her, as she is a bit shy and scared. She likes to be held and bundled in a blanket.

Bring home Bali
Bali is a brown bullseye male tabby American shorthair, who is very friendly and unusual looking. Bali is a sweet cat, but has an eye ulcer and needs a special home.

Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. For more information call (734) 324-4445 or go to www.petfinder.com/shelters/MI363.html.
