Dearborn, Mich.–The Henry Ford Community College (HFCC) Fine Arts and Fitness Division will present Shakespeare’s romantic tragedy Romeo and Juliet in the Adray Auditorium of the MacKenzie Fine Arts Center on the HFCC main campus. Public performances are Thursdays through Sundays, April 7 to 17; Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sundays.

This intimate theatrical event offers a unique opportunity to view one of the most popular works by William Shakespeare as well as a chance to observe the acting skill of local talent studying Theater at HFCC.

Seating for all performances is on stage, with only 100 seats available for each performance. This 90 minute version condenses the story without losing the beauty of the verse, the comedy or the romantic tragedy that audiences love so well.

High school matinees are Monday, April 11; Wednesday, April 13, and Friday, April 15 at 10 a.m. Seats are $5 per student; teachers and chaperones are free. Maximum group size is 100.

General admission tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students with an ID, and $7 a seat for groups of 10 or more. For more information, please call 313.845.9817 or email [email protected] for reservations.
