Wayne County sponsors free electronics recycling Saturday

The Wayne County Department of Public Services, the city of Dearborn, and Vintage Tech Recyclers are sponsoring a free electronics recycling event open to all Wayne County residents from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn.

Items that will be accepted are: televisions, CRT and LCD monitors, desktop and laptop computers, computer keyboards and mice, printers, fax machines, copiers, VCRs, DVD players, microwaves, stereos, speakers, miscellaneous cables, telephones and cellular phones, game consoles and handheld electronics devices such as iPods, CD players and Game Boys.
