A 30-year-old Dearborn Heights resident was arraigned Monday in 46th District Court in Southfield on six charges, including attempted murder, after he allegedly used pipe bombs and an assault rifle on houses while trying to find his ex-wife.
According to published reports, William Kendrick Brown allegedly firebombed and shot up houses in Detroit and Southfield while looking for his ex-wife.
He was arrested in Detroit April 6 following an investigation that included the Southfield Tactical Crime Suppression Unit and Detroit police. Officers found pipe bombs and the rifle in Brown’s vehicle.
Southfield police said he was upset over the breakup of his marriage.
Bond was set at $1 million by magistrate Cynthia Arvant in Southfield.
