TRENTON — A fundraising dinner to benefit the Special Needs Activities Program will be held Thursday at Mr. Nick’s, 1926 West Road.
The restaurant will donate a portion of its sales that day to the program, which provides field trips every weekday for six weeks for young people (ages 10 to 25) with cognitive impairments. Diners are asked to let servers know that they are dining for SNAP.
In addition to the field trips, SNAP also offers a state-certified summer day camp program that includes time at the Kennedy Aquatic Center, bowling, miniature golf and tennis.
SNAP sessions run from 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. June 28 through Aug. 6.
