Free event highlights solo performances with piano accompaniment

DEARBORN – Students from Dearborn and surrounding communities will present a free violin and cello recital in the classical tradition at 12:30 p.m. May 21 at Henry Ford Centennial Library.

The students range from advanced to beginning performers and have been preparing under the direction of both Joseph Deller and Brandon Cota.

Deller conducts at the Dearborn Youth Symphony and also has an outreach program in Flint called the Troubadours.

Cota is a local musical instructor. Both men are involved with the Michigan Philharmonic, the Flint Symphony and the Dearborn Symphony.
